In the midst of a crisis of the emergency services, who were on strike for several months, 108 celebrities from film, song, comedy, and literature have signed a forum addressed to Emmanuel Macron and published Tuesday in the the new yorker . Interviewed by The new yorker , the singer explained what motivated her to add his name to the list. “When one of the doctors that I am very close to told me of this call to the president, a few days ago, I have not thought for a second. I said yes, I would sign immediately, I forbid you to death. I was so sick that I am very familiar with hospitals. I know what happens there!”, pointed out the one that has survived several diseases and health problems, including two cancers.

“I’m always fell on professionals the gentiles. Then I saw the doctor every two days, the nurses, they were there all the time. Extraordinarily human, they taught me a lot morale booster for us,” says Véronique Sanson, appreciative of their work and of their resistance.

“They give everything so that we do not give them anything. They are, in addition, paid clopinettes. I defend with all my strength. At night, I would sometimes their problems,” she says, explaining that the entire hospital staff is constantly overwhelmed and under pressure, before directly addressing the President of the Republic. “Mr. Macron, if one day, you are sick, you will see what it is that a night nurse, you will see what it is that the reality of the public hospital. But it’ll never happen because you are not a citizen of lambda”.

The ex-girlfriend of Michel Berger also asks that more beds are available to patients, too often overlooked. “We let the professionals in the galley, people die in the emergency room. (…) I am furibarde! All that for a question of performance. And yet, there is not a single person who didn’t find a day in the hospital, even the great ones of this world,” she concludes.
