The exhibition will include a tribute to a school of painting, a Dutch born in the Seventeenth century, the “Fijnschilders” (painters purposes). The Louvre Abu Dhabi had been inaugurated with great fanfare in November 2017 by the president of france Emmanuel Macron, and the strong man of the united arab Emirates, sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyane. It was positioned as a “universal museum that celebrates the exchange between cultures and tolerance”.
