The nomination for the best visual effects includes Solo: A Star Wars Story , Black Panther , Ant-Man and the Wasp , Avengers: Infinity War , Jean-Christophe and Winnie , First Man: The First Man on the Moon , Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom , The Return of Mary Poppins , Ready Player One and Welcome to Marwen . The Oscar for best make-up and hairstyles will be challenged by Black Panther , Bohemian Rhapsody , Border , Stan and Ollie , Suspiria and Mary Queen of Scots . Fifteen films have been nominated for the Oscar for best music, including First Man: The First Man on the Moon , BlacKkKlansman: I’ve infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan , Ready Player One , The Death of Stalin and Black Panther .

Among the feature films which will compete for the Oscar for the best foreign language film, France is represented by two productions: Capernaum of the Lebanese Nadine Labaki and Cold War of the Polish Pawel Pawlikowski. As to Pain Emmanuel Finkiel, supported by the Centre national du cinema, he has failed to win a nomination. The 91st ceremony of the Oscars will take place on 24 February at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
