The Ministry of science and higher education of Russia considers the possibility of increased state academic scholarships for students to the level of the minimum wage. As told TASS in the press service of the Ministry, this will require a significant increase in budgetary appropriations of the Federal budget. Now in the Department are working on various options for increasing scholarship support of students, including in relation to the state academic scholarships for students to the level of the minimum wage. Recall that the size of the minimum wage for 2020 is set at 12 130 RUB.
