A painting by Renoir which was to be sold at auction in Vienna was looted on Monday night and the austrian police search for three suspects, it was learnt on Wednesday. Gulf, sea, cliffs, green , an oil on canvas of small size, painted in 1895 by Auguste Renoir, was estimated at between 120,000 and 160,000 euros. The creation of the impressionist has been stolen from the premises of the auction house Dorotheum , where she was exposed prior to its sale is scheduled this Wednesday.
