The Palais Brongniart on only vibrates not finally the sound of the electro, on 8 and 9 December. For two days, the old stock Exchange of Paris was to crank up the volume by welcoming INASOUND, the first festival dedicated to the culture of electro, sponsored by Jean-Michel Jarre. The event has been postponed due to possible protests of the «yellow vests» in the capital, announced Tuesday the organizers to the AFP.

«The pressures that are facing the country and the incidents that occur in the heart of the capital do not allow today,» the organization of the festival, said in a press release the national audiovisual Institute (Ina).
Pre-refunded 100%
last Saturday, during a day marked by numerous riots in the capital, «yellow vests» were briefly introduced in the Palais Brongniart, the former seat of the historic stock Exchange.
«to be able to accommodate the public, the artists and the partners of the event in the best conditions, therefore, it has been decided to postpone the first edition of INASOUND in the spring of 2019,» says Ina. Pre-sales will be refunded «100 percent».
acoustic Performances, DJ sets, «masterclasses», facilities for digital arts, experiments, acoustic, workshops for children… This festival, devised by the Ina had to accommodate thousands of participants (activists electro, simple clubbers and «teuffers») with displays of dozens of Djs and specialists of electro including DJ Kiddy Smile, the herald of dancers voguing, the duo icelandic Kiasmos, the British Erol Alkan or the Syrian Wael Alkak. Sponsor of the festival, Jean-Michel Jarre was to give a masterclass, as well as the musician electro Laurent Garnier.

The national audiovisual Institute (Ina), guardian permanent archives of the radio and television, is also in charge of the legendary GRM, Groupe de recherches musicales, the birthplace of electroacoustic music, created in 1958 by Pierre Schaeffer.
