Federline and the singer were married from 2004 to 2007, and have two sons.

Kevin Federline sends positive vibes to his ex-wife Britney Starr. He was married to her from 2004 to 2007.

The former dancer was also known as K-Fed in pop culture circles. He even had his last name made into a verb (called getting «Federlined») for the victory many believe that he won in his separation from Spears. Federline was awarded sole custody of Jayden, 14, and Sean, 15, from the ex-couple.

Federline, his lawyer, now claims that the contentious days of those dog days are behind him. He wants Spears to be happy and healthy as she seeks to dissolve the conservatorship which has been over her for 13 years.

Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan stated that Kevin supports her in doing what is best for her on Friday to Entertainment Tonight. It doesn’t matter what positive effect a conservatorship had on her mental state. He supports her in creating the best environment possible for her to live in, and for her children to visit her mother.

The powerhouse litigator added: «Kevin believes that the best thing for his kids is for their mother be happy and healthy, and if that can happen without a conservatorship that’s fantastic.»

Kaplan told the outlet that Federline had been watching the proceedings from the sidelines, just like the public. He also shared that Federline has not been involved in the matter and has «stayed away from that.»

The lawyer said, «He just hopes everything goes well.»

Federline hopes that Spears receives the outcome she wants because, in his opinion, such a ruling would make her «a happy mother» and one of the things we can all learn from her comments is that she’s under tremendous pressure.

Kaplan stated that people under pressure can make different decisions than if they are completely free to do so. Kevin is happy to dissolve the conservatorship if she can manage herself and her children in a manner that is not harmful.

Federline believes that the conservatorship status is not relevant to the children because «there are financial problems that must be addressed.»

Kaplan also stated that Federline agreed with Spears’ previous admission by Sam D. Ingham III, that Jodi Montour, the temporary conservator for Spears, «has done an outstanding job from what he sees based on their interaction on those occasions when they had to communicate with one another.»

Federline also hopes that Spears will be able to have the conservatorship dissolved. This is primarily «to ensure that the boys visit mom,» Kaplan explained, Entertainment Tonight.

Remember that Britney was a toddler when Britney’s conservatorship was established. He said that we are now talking about two young, intelligent boys who are 14 years old and 15 years respectively. They can judge for themselves if things are going their way or not.

«Most importantly, they are able to express to Kevin as well as to Britney. This adds an additional layer of protection to the conservatorship that wasn’t there when it was first established.

Kaplan revealed that Spears’ father Jamie is currently barred from seeing his grandchildren by a restraining orders. Federline’s relationship to Jamie has also been put on hold since the order was implemented.

He also stated that his client’s relationship is «amiable» with the mother of their children.

Kaplan stated that Kevin has been a consistent supporter of Britney and hopes that Britney is able enjoy her life in safety and health. He also looks forward to the opportunity to be able co-parent his two teenage children.»
